RAVENNA AND FERRARA: NATURE, HISTORY AND CULTURE 4 days – 3 nights

PLAN

1st day: FERRARA

Arrival of the group in Ferrara and meeting with the guide for a walking tour of the historic center and the Jewish Ghetto.  Once the visits are over, transfer to Ravenna and accommodation in the reserved hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

2nd day: RAVENNA

Breakfast at the hotel. Full day with guide to visit the city of Ravenna which includes:

Sant'Apollinare in Classe, the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia and the Neonian Baptistery.

Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

3rd day: RAVENNA

Breakfast at the hotel. Day dedicated to visiting the main museums of the city: The Tamo Mosaico Museum, a museum dedicated to ancient and contemporary mosaics, which is located in the splendid monumental complex of San Nicolò; The MAR - Art Museum of the city of Ravenna, which is located within the monumental complex of the Loggetta Lombardesca.

Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

4th day: May 11th

Breakfast at the hotel, check-out and transfer to Cervia to visit the Cervia salt pan, located at the southern gate of the Po Delta Regional Park, it is the northernmost salt pan in Italy , and it is known throughout our peninsula and in the world for the production of its sweet salt , called white gold in ancient times! After the visit, lunch at the farmhouse and then in the afternoon excursion to the Punta Alberete Oasis. Once the visits are over, return to your destination.
